The pilot standing in front is Gen. Szetu. While he was Commander of 5th AF Wing, later he became Commander in Chief of RoCAF.

Even though he is shown on the wing of F-86004 "004" 112946 51-12946, he flew F-86001.

He flew with about 100 combat missions during the Sino-Japanese War 1940-1945.

History note: Gen. Frederick Wu-O Chiao flew the "001" F-86. That plane eventually crashed. The slat couldn't retract causing apin. Gen. Frederick Wu-O Chiao bailed out wounded, but was safe.
